Massage with a TENS machine
Massage with a TENS machine - It's that easy!
In addition to TENS therapy, EMS muscle building and pelvic floor training, you can use a TENS machine to relieve stress and relax with the help of a massage. As is usual with a TENS machine, you can use it easily and comfortably at home on the sofa or, for example, in the office at work. So if you want to relieve stress quickly, you don't have to go to a massage practice first, but can start right away. In addition to the soothing sensation, a massage with a TENS machine increases blood flow[1] to the affected area by transmitting electrical impulses to your muscles via the pads. In addition, TENS therapy causes your body to release endorphins, which help to reduce stress[2]. Similar to traditional massage, you can use a TENS massage on different parts of your body using the different pads. Below you will find an overview of the different devices and electrodes that you can best use for a massage.

The right TENS machine for a massage
With the TENS EMS combination machine, you can access 14 EMS programs in addition to 16 TENS programs in order to relieve pain in any part of the body or to build up muscles. The device offers you 2 massage programs, which you can use for the body parts described above. The TENS EMS machine has 4 different channels. One channel can be connected to up to 2 pads. You can therefore use up to 8 pads at the same time, which makes it much easier for you to use on large areas of the body, for example the back. The two massage programs are perfect for muscle relaxation and blood circulation and offer you a flexible way to relax. Simply attach the pads, switch on the unit and relax. You can use program P31 or P32 for all the applications described.

Please note
Start the TENS massage at a low intensity and slowly work your way up. The massage should feel good and you should not feel any pain. If the intensity is too high, the muscles contract and are trained. This can increase muscle soreness and even lead to overtraining.
The effect of a TENS massage
The effect of a TENS massage is the same as with a conventional massage. Only the impulses or the stimuli differ here. The impulses on the skin increase the blood circulation of the skin and the muscles. In addition, the cell metabolism in the tissue is stimulated and the blood pressure and pulse rate decrease. Tension and hardening in the muscles can also be relieved. Massaging the muscles has a relaxing effect on the skin and an influence on the psyche. The touch on the skin can reduce stress.
