Back training with electrical muscle stimulation (EMS)
EMS devices and electrodes recommendations
Strengthen the back with EMS training
The back consists of different muscles that can be trained separately with electrical muscle stimulation. According to a study by the University of Bayreuth, regular EMS training on different parts of the body can alleviate back pain.
How to place EMS pads for training your back
As a beginner, you can, for example, use the EMS program P18 for large muscle groups from our EMS machine STIM-PRO X9 to start your back training. You can achieve the best results by using the electrode set for the back. Alternatively, you can use the 5 x 5 cm electrodes for smaller muscle groups on your back. We recommend planning 10 - 20 minutes per day for back training to strengthen the muscles and prevent back problems.
