The extension of the ankle, which is important for walking and running, is triggered by the contraction of the calf muscle. A shortened calf muscle impairs mobility in the ankle joint of the foot. The foot can no longer be pulled completely upwards during walking. This can lead to complaints that can be prevented by strengthening the muscles. With the right EMS device you can build and train your muscles!
